What I’ve Received: Linkage

Pandemic changes everything. It blocks me from home, from family. Although I’ve been trapped in my room, I’m receiving care and love from people around me. I took inspiration from Lego Mini Figures, which is an iconic man-like character. By transferring and molding a real Lego man into my own work, I’m illustrating a toy that reminds childhood, when kids need parents to take care of them. These movable figures are holding hands express people helping each other to overcome hard times. A big Thank You to my roommates, friends, instructors, and MJCC community.
